Well I just built a smoking hot new computer. Specs are:

ASUS P5NE-SLI
E6750
2GB RAM
8800GTS
600 watt psu
160GB HD

The machine runs amazing for about 1-2 hours, and then things start to go haywire. First the sound starts to stutter, loop, and just sound horrible. Then, the mouse in games/windows/anything starts to stick and jump around the screen. It will get worse and worse until I just can't stand it anymore and reboot. The reboot seems to fix it, but then again, 1-2 hours later, everything goes under again and the whole process starts all over again.

Any ideas?

sounds like it's getting too hot or something after a couple hours of use... Try re-seating the processor and HSF, also make sure power cables are not the slightest bit loose.
