Hey All building a new system as my last one (2800Xp) is on it's last legs lol.

So Far
Ga-P35-DS3l
Intel E8400 3.0 Ghz Core 2
Enermax 620 Watt PSU
Gigabyte 8800GT Superclocked Video Card
WD 320Gb 16Mb 7200 Rpm HD
Cheap Coolermaster case and LG Burner
Windows Vista 64 Bit

Now I want 4Gb of ram what in the world should I get??? I', leaning towards PC6400 as it is way cheaper and as far as I can tell should perform fairly well.

Over to you guys as this is my first Intel build ever!!!

2x2gb of mushkin, gskill, or corsair would be fine. If you want to go with 4x1gb sticks, then crucial is your best bet.

Personally I would go with the Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 right now. There's lots of deals on this Micron based memory right now, and it performs extremely well. I've just used it to max out my and my friends PC's. The DDR1066 will give you an extra boost too.
