just wondering, i was reading through my manual of the HD3870, and it was saying i need a crossfire edition card to composite the immage and output it... but i have never seen any HD3870 card that is a crossfire edition card; all of them purport to be crossfire ready... what's the deal??? can i just Xfire the cards or what???

Almost sounds like the manuals have not been updated. I think with the HD2K series and up all cards use an internal connectore like SLI for CF. The old ones had a CF edition card that would come with a dongle for the outside to connect to a non CF card of the same type.

Thats just funny.
