i have a ASUS 8600GT 512 128bit right now.i play alot of pc games..heres the deal i used to have a nvidida7900gs 256mb 256bit..and for the some reason the old 7900gs ran video games at much higher settings than the 8600gt..and its probably because it was a 256bit and the 8600gt is a 128bit..so i want to know..if i SLI two 8600gt 512mb 128bits will it run better(kind of better than a 256bit?)
Always check the VGA charts before making a new purchase. Generally speaking, NVidia's current generation *600 series is generally slower than the previous generation *800 or *900 series. I suggest you sell the 8600GT 512 and pick up an 8800GT 512.

2 x 128 bit in Sli mode = 128 bit. Go with Lord Gornak's suggestion and get a 8800 512 GT or GTS
