did you guys read about my psu? and my mobo? , there is no sound at all, small buzzing sound, does not reconize USB devices. psu broke it.. i didnt test my graphics card yet, because i cant, i dont have mobo that supports pci-e and neither the psu. i have sent a mail to rosewill yesturday, telling the story. and i got reply yesturday night. they wanted more specific story, and some pictures. ive sent it back, asking what rosewill can do for me. obviously, i told them about my mobo. (all parts are okay, except for mobo, not sure with gfc) if rosewill want my computer, im not thinking to send it, even though they are paying for shipping. i dont know how long it will take, and also im pretty sure that no one can(rosewill, mobo maunfacturer,ASUS,) FIX my mobo, only solution is to get new mobo.

can the manufacturer fix this problem? what do you guys think?

i REGRET ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arrange for Mobo to be fixed/replaced under Warranty, either manufacturer or supplier (depends on your consumer laws). If they hassle you over cause of damage, refer them to Rosewill and let them get on with it.
If you watch this forum you will notice that Rosewill is NOT reccomended as a supplier of PSUs, and now you know why. Cheap low quality PSUs lie about their ratings and struggle to make 75% of their rating for continuous output. So if it says 600W, it may struggle to put out 450W.

Or it may blow up at any output. I should bookmark this and link to it anytime someone wants a Cooler Master, Rosewill, Ultra or any other piece of junk PSU.

I would bet that more hardware is eaten by junk PSUs than anything, especially all these hard drives that we see failing.

Maybe this should be made a sticky. ;)

If Rosewill does not get you a new MOBO I would just attempt a return of the MOBO to the mfg. and see what happens. Who's to say the MOBO didn't blow first?

And get a higher quality PSU. Rosewill is low tier.

It's highly unlikely that Rosewill is going to give him anything but another POS PSU that he shouldn't use anyway. If they did that every time their garbage PSUs took out a mobo etc., they would be bankrupt.

There is a chance that the mobo manufacturer might fix it, assuming they can't see the damage. I'm sure it's not the first mobo, that they have seen, that was blown up by a junk PSU.

At any rate good luck.

thanks for replies.. so you dont think rosewill will pay for my mobo? and i should refer to my mobo manufacturer?(HP). i have more than 2.5 year warranty left. they gave it for free...
also you dont think that rosewill will refund my psu?
doesnt matter what rosewill refund or replace, ill get new psu , im thinkig this psu,
antec earthwatt 500
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817371007
or
antec neopower 550
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817103941 (im about to get this)
or
antec tru power trio
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817371002

basically, im deciding between tru power trio, neopower, earthwatt. i dont think i can spend a lot... little percenage of getting turpower trio..
so which of these psu are very very stable, good perform.. long life??
any experiences??
