I am planning building my first computer. Although I have made small upgrades like adding memory and stuff like that, I have never actually built a computer from the ground up.
I just figured i would run it buy the pros and see what you think before i go and buy this stuff. Keep in mind this is meant to be a budget machine as i have a tight budget of only about $700. I have never purchased anything from Tiger Direct before and i have never heard anything about them really. Every time I mention buying compter parts people say "go to newegg.com" is this because Tiger Direct sucks? All i know is that it is cheaper.

so this is my parts list, please any suggestions

Whew, get something better than a PC Chips MB. You want to use 4 GB ram in a $64 MB with built in video. Use only 1 or 2GB ram and use the xtra money on better parts. Do you already have an OS? Even Vista will be fine on 2 GB. Buy a cheap video card and get much better performance. You can do much better on $700. There is a good reasons most like newegg VS TD, just trust us. Get a better MB and a Boxed cpu and use the stock cooling and save $20 on that heatsink fan. Read some more. How are you planning to use the computer. You don't want to waste money, don't build that thing like you were planning.

Suggest this mobo, has an HDMI connection as well as DVI. Not sure you'd even need a video card for media center PC. I'd add a sound card first something like either the Bgear or HT Omega, both have gotten excellent reviews. Have the HT Omega Claro and noticeable improvement over the onboard audio running it through a receiver. A DATA also makes good inexpensive RAM if you can find it for less than the G Skill not that G Skills isn't also good
