Just OC my e2180, all went well, primed it for 24h it passed. I disabled C1E for the itnitial OC, and speedstep was disabled by default in my bio's (thats the way it came), even though at stock with no changes at idle it would use the 6multiplier and lessen the voltage on its own (my guess auto voltage).
So now after I OC and got it all done, I went back into the bio's enabled C1E, not expecting everything to work like before, and it didn't, no surprise there. So I enabled speedstep along with it hoping that would get everything running the way I want it to, but that didn't work either. I just also tested speedstep on its own and it does not throttle the voltage nor the multiplier. So now it stays at the same voltage I set it at 1.264v core voltage on CPU-Z (1.28750 according to bios) even though it drops the multiplier down to 6 when idle (with both enabled).
So my question is there anyway to remedy this problem, so I can the voltage to drop when at idle. I'm hoping its just a stupid oversight on my part.
