More Information

Hello..all,

I'm planning to upgrade my game system in the very short time, but I'm having difficult time to decide wether I go with X48 or X38 main board. I read a great review a lot about X38 (particularly Asus Maximus Series), and on the other hand X48 is just around the corner.

Is it worth a wait for X48 to hit the market and grab one of those? or should I just go with X38? I also having a tough decision about processor, what I have in mind is E8400 and E8500, which one will do the best job for overclocking? Do they both really have a big difference in terms of performance and reliability?

Thank you guys...

you only need an x38 if you running crossfirex

the gigabyte seperates the cards better with 2 slots between the pci-e but asus is nicer - the cards are tight

x48 only has a minor ram tweek and you never see it in real life

if your not running dual cards go with a p35 mobo
