Problem with Sata Cables or Mobo.. or ..?

Not sure if I am posting in Right place, so here goes....

First of all, I am having problems as follows..
windows stops responding, slow screen loading, also when rebooting due to sys freezing up-it tells me it's not reading disk..

What I have been doing to resolve this issue is barley adjusting sata cables to Mobo (seems like there loose at Mobo).... I am doing this about twice a week...getting tired of this..... I have rerouted cables to take the pressure of sata cables..but problem still remains.....any idea to help resolve this problem is more than welcome...

I have also re-located them to other sata ports on Mobo...same problems..
