i am using asus f3jp series notebook. it comes with 1gb ram, i want to upgrade that. please give me details of upgrading ram. upto how much i can upgrade it.

Head over to www.crucial.com, they have a system scanner on there for RAM that should detect how your system is configured and suggest any upgrades for you. Note that you may need to discard whatever memory you have now depending if you only have 1 memory slot, or if you have 2 - 512mb chips instead of one 1-gig chip.
