:hello: Hello I need a good advice for a memory upgrade for my new mobo , at the moment I have OCZ 2g PC 6400-800Mhz Nvidia SLI edition!!


I want to upgrade for 2g PC8500-1066Mhz I am looking one of this two:

OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-8500C5 SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2

or

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX (2x1GB)


My Cpu is the Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz and Graphics card is the XFX 8800GT XXX Edition 512MB GDDR3 Dual DVI HDTV Out PCI-E

Hello and welcome to the forums mate :)

Both of those RAMs are good but i say go for DDR2 800 because its cheaper and it OCs very well, also there are many DDR2 800 RAMs with
4-4-4-x or lower timings but most DDR2 1066 RAMs have 5-5-5-x timings
