Hi,
I've recently gone from 2x 1GB DDR2 Ram, to 3x 1GB.

However when I look in System properties, Task Manager and on srtest.com it still shows as 2GB RAM.

The only program that acknowledges the 3rd GB is CPU-Z.

Is there something I need to enable?

I'm using XP MCE.

Thanks

It says the same thing in mine too; I have 2x512mb and 2x1gb ddr2-800 running in dual channel in Windows XP Pro (32). The OS says 2.0gb while my BIOS and CPUZ say 3. Perhaps the other hardware in my system causing this?

I have 3 Dell XPS machines running Windows XP Media Center Edition, and have 2 with the same issue.

The first is a Dell XPS Gen 4 has 2 - 512MB, and 2- 1GB and shows 3GB of Ram in BIOS and in Windows, everything reports OK.

The second and third of my Dell XPS 600 machines have 2 - 512MB, and 2 - 1GB and shows only 2GB in Windows and 3GB in the BIOS.

I do not see any other issues except for the reporting error in Windows.
