How good is Clie wireless?

I'm hoping to upgrade my PDA sometime soon, and I'm considering the Clie
PEG-TJ27. However, the wireless feature of the TJ37 sounds appealing.

I've read the reviews on pdareviewspot.com, and the results are somewhat
mixed. Also, I'm always a little pessimistic of reviews like these, in that
I wonder if they try to make everything look good.

So, my question: How well does the 802.11b wireless feature work on the Clie
PEG-TJ37? Does it connect easily and reliably? Is it enough of an
advantage to pay the extra cost? I would like to hear from some "real
world" users.

Thanks in advance!!!

You can most likely find a lot of real world users over at
cliesource.com in the TJ forums.

I've got the Sony CLIE TH55 and the TH forums have been invaluable in
learning lots of tricks and how to's for the TH55.

By the way, the TH55 is a nice toy too :-)

I'd agree with that. The WiFi on the TH55 is excellent and involved zero set up
- it was literally plug and play. The range is not great, though, mainly
because the antenna is integrated, but it will cover the average house and yard,
maybe not a mansion!. The presence of Bluetooth (in Europe), a VGA camera,
excellent display and amazing battery life makes it worth going for the TH55
IMHO.

I agree I've no problem with my TH55 within the house. (WIFI repeater on
third floor front.) However my vaio laptop wifi works in the back garden,
where as the clie looses signal at the back door!

I must mover the wifi repeater for a better uniform result.
