What am I missing, what would you change?

More about build review pull trigger
  1. I would change the 8800GT to a 8800GTS 512MB.

Instead of the Tuniq tower, I would recommend the Zerotherm Nirvana which performs better, but it's your choice.

I don't like dual card solutions so I'll recommend the ASUS P5K-e.

As for harddisk, I recommend the 750GB WD7500AAKS.
  2. You also need to get that poor PC a Kevlar vest... Give it a chance when you 'pull the trigger'.
  3. I'm pretty set on the GT8800 unless the price of the GTS drops with the new 9200 or whatever being released in two weeks.

I'm also not into a 750GB drive. Just too big for me, a 500GB should be plenty.

Only reason I recommended the 8800GTS was because it runs quieter and cooler. The 8800GT is quite loud.

Also the 750GB hd is one of the fastest drives out there.
  5. Loud isn't a problem for me, the case will be on the floor a few feet away from the the desk.
  6. Anybody else want to review and give me some other ideas on components?
  7. get the GTS - it'll likely do better on such a high resolution...
