I have recently been turning off my system at night to conserve energy. The last couple mornings, when I turn on my system I hear it start up, spin the hd and then reboots - it repeats this endlessly. There is no video. I turn off the PSU for a minute, then try it again and the system starts up normally. Any ideas?

System specs: Gigabyte EX38-DS4, 3.0Ghz wolfdale, 8800GTX, 700W OCZ PSU, 2GB OCZ platinum, seagate barracuda ES.2

Had something a bit like that with a Gigabyte once, mine was the S.M.A.R.T function, was findind a problem on one of my boot HDs.

Check your bios for anything around HD checking or S.M.A.R.T and disable it, if your PC boots normal again you may have a HD issue of some sort. If you cant find any setting in bios try removing HDs and trying to boot with a temp HD, you wont need to install an OS or use boot CD just try and get to the "No OS found prompt"
