More Information

For the love of little jimmy I can not find info on if I can in fact use pc2 6400 ram in my Gateway MT6840 notebook Vista 32 bit, that has two dual channel 512mb pc2-5300. Max is 4 gb and I understand I will only see 3.2gb on my system if I chose two 2gb. If so will it run quicker or is this a was of time for me to research being that it may not be a significate increace of speed.
I ran CPUz but I am PC challenged and can not comprehend the FSB speed the multiplier factor and such to know what I have and what I can use.
