Hello.

I have a second hard drive installed that is being recognized by Windows, but I cannot launch it by double-clicking in "My Computer." I recieve the following message:

"S-2-3-75-100019459-100007873-100010897-5325.com has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

However, I can right-click on the drive and select "Explore," then it works fine.

Any solutions? Thanks.

Have you tried running an up-to-date virus and spyware scan, if that doesn't report anything try a full (all options checked) Windows disk test.

Thanks for your reply.

I have run Check Disk with all options, no errors reported. Other things I've tried:

1. Complete Virus and Spyware/Malware scan in Normal and Safe Mode: Negative.
2. Repairing my installation of Windows
3. Moving the SATA to another port on my Motherboard

It's an odd situation: I can access the disk; but I need to right-click and select "Explore." If I try to double-click, I get the error posted above. I get no errors double-clicking my main HD.

It's almost as if there is some registry file or something that's missing, but I have no idea what.
