i have a 5000+(65nm chip) that im OCing to 2.8ghz so that the ram runs properly. problem is, my PC sometimes freezes while loading windows when starting up???

it just started the other day and is really irritating!!!!!!!!!!!

is it my motherboard? Asus M3A
my CPU?
or my PSU? Omega 600w

please help, or my PC is gonna meet the wall VERY soon!

Why don't you run some tests to find out? Slow down your OC to see if that helps. Run memtest86+ as a basic check of your RAM. Run Orthos or similar PRIME95-based stress testing program to stress CPU+RAM.

I'm running the 5000 BE at 3.01 Ghz without any issues. I would also recommend checking your RAM.

Man I think its your ram or maybe your hard too just check them
