Please take a look at this build and offer any last-minute comments before I make the purchase (I want to be able to over-clock to 4ghz on air with no long-term longevity problems, I would like it to last 3 or more years):

Looks good.

If you want to SLI in the future - go with a 780i board.

(NOT SURE WHICH ONE IS A BETTER CHOICE?)
SAMSUNG 2220WM Black 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1
SAMSUNG 226BW Black 22" 2ms (GTG) DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 700:1
The 2220WM looks like it has built in speakers (which probably suck), but the other specs are very similar to the 226BW.

My opinion: I own the 245BW (the big brother of the 226BW) and I couldn't be more happy with it. Color is great, brightness is great, adjustments / profiles are top notch, and bundled software makes it easy to swap "modes". The 226BW is the same series as the 245BW, so I bet it's going to retain the same quality.

It's a nice build. The only thing I'd be careful of is the 4gb RAM. If you are running XP/Vista 32 bit it will only read 3gb of the RAM whereas 64bit will read it all. Generally speaking, most games only need 2gb RAM so...

I'd get 2gb RAM and using the cash left over upgrade your motherboard to a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P. Better board in my opinion. Stable overclocking platform, good features, great brand & good price:performance.

^^ All I can say is that Im pissed I didnt get 4 gigs of ram...

On Vista just idle uses 700-900mb of ram....while gaming I am just under 2 gigs while playing CoD4. I say stick with the 4 gigs.

Also the Pro is a VERY good board. It is better than the DS3P as it is on par with the DS4 which is a higher board

Do you think that memory will do 4-4-4-12???
