I'm trying to install a new game, Burnout Paradise, but I'm having a weird experience with my Asus DRW-2014L1T DVD R/RW which it can't read the data in the CD. However, I load another games in that optical drive and it has no problem at all. Another crazy thing is that I load the Burnout Paradise on my notebook's CD-ROM and it works fine.
I have no idea what in the world is goin' on with my DVD-ROM? Please...let me know if any of you know how to solve this "weird" problem.
What do you mean by can't read the data?
Can't see the Disc at all (show it as Blank, or non-existent).
Or when you start the installation, it get stuck in the decompression/installation of the files?
If the first one look for the compatibility of your drive for the media (+R, -R, etc).
If the second, try to copy the data of your disc on your hard -drive and make an installation from that folder.
