Hi Everyone,

I have two HIS Iceq turbo 3870's, which I think are in crossfire, but I am getting conflicting information. I am running vista ultimate 64 and the device manager shows both video cards, but the catalyst control center seems to only show one card, even with the crossfire box enabled. Z GPU shows crossfire is disabled. My 3Dmark05 score is 15,675. All the drivers are up to date. What should I trust that crossfire is working? The rest of the system is as follows....

amd phenom 9600
msi K9A2 platinum mobo
4 gigs kingston hyper x -1066 (running at 800)
2 HIS Iceq3 turbo 3870's
I think everyone else in the box shouldn't matter in finding the problem.

Also, with dual video cards (supposedly in crossfire) does it matter which card the monitor is plugged into?

This is my first system build so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

thats about right 3dmark you should be getting with 2 i run the same setup it wont show 2 cards in the crossfire part but if you enable ati overdrive you should see 2 in the graphics adapter box. If it doesnt detect 2 cards, there wont be a crossfire section in catalyst control.

And no it doesnt matter what slot its in
