We have an older Fujitsu Lifebook S Series laptop that had to have windows reinstalled on it. Since doing so, we cannot seem to find the wireless card nor the settings to get it to work. We have set the switch on the back to "ON", and have 'played' around with the TCP/IP settings to no avail (it seems to work hard-wired). We have checked the wireless router and allowed the machine access to the router but no success. There is no wireless icon in the lower right hand side of the screen (which was there before having to reimage). Any ideas?

If the wireless is inbuilt, check the Fujitsu support site's area for this model of laptop for the correct wireless driver.

If you can identify the actual chipset you may find a newer driver on the chipmaker's site (Intel, Broadcomm etc).
