To change the voltage you need to do that in the BIOS. CPUz shows the Vcore voltage not the VID. If you have the CPU at default and not overclocked and the Vcore to AUTO the Vcore will be the VID. BUT most Voltages shown in windows is different then the BIOS.(ie: I have the voltage set to 1.27500V in the BIOS with LLC Enabled and CPUz shows 1.256V). If your VID is 1.16V and you have the Vcore set to 1.2V in the BIOS CPUz may show 1.16V.
To check the VID run RealTemp. CPUz will not show VID, It never has.
