What is the best way to get all the junk off of my computer and install windows

i want to get rid of windows vista and install windows 7. but i want to do it in a way that i can get rid of all the viruses and problems that are on my computer now.

First of all,

There are several good (and free) anti-virus programs out there, I like MS Security Essentials.

Download it and do a full scan and then remove the malware it finds.

I've never switched an OS from one to the other, so I can't help you there.

Also, u can kill all the viruses by installing Win 7, by choosing the option to format the drive before the install.
