Working on a friends PC/Laptop, Running Mcfee internet Security latest updates. running on Windows Vista
Had Trojan yesterday , "FakeAlert-Rana.p"
Now can bot print. Jobs just get stuck in queue
Tried to reload printed but locks up while trying to find the printer. Printer Is Wireless HP.
Works from other PCs also can ping printer from the PC that is not working.

What am I missing?
Can you point me in the right direction?

PS: Replace Mcafee AV with one that is more effective. Kapersky, AVAST, AVG, anything but Norton !

I resolved this by uiistalling the Printer drives using HP's uninstaller and reinstalling the printer.

Uninstalling using Add/Remove programs did not do a clean uninstall.

HP support talked me through this in a few minutes.
