Having probs with new system, any help would be greatly appreciated.

My problems is that when I boot the system, all I get is a high pitched sound and i instantly power sysem off.
I've checked all connections twice, three, even four times all is good there. Thanks again for your input.....

Do you have the cable from the power supply connected to the video card. Sounds like the warning siren for no power to the video card. Also make sure the video card is fully seated in its slot.

VC is properly seated and the power to VC is actually on the motherboard and it is also connected.

Correction,   Thanks Stoner  that was the problem!!!!!   Both the VC and MB needed power connections for video. All this new stuff is far from what I'm used too.   AMD 2600+ and 8X AGP card   lmao!!!!!
