More Information

I was keeping an eye out for Phantom Entertainment's lapboard and figured that since they recently made a deal with Alienware, that they might be shipping product. However, I noticed that I couldn't order the product on their website or even post a message on their contact page. However, their phone answering service appears to work.

I checked their stock status and discovered that it has been trading under a different designation for over a week now. I think the ticker price was .0004/share. Heck, at the $125 cost of the lapboard I could purchase 312,000 shares of stock and request each share have it's own certificate! At that price, it would be cheaper than toilet paper (LOL).

Anyway, the company is on it's death kneel. This is the same company (Infinium) that raised almost a hundred million dollars a few years ago to build an online gaming system only to squander all the money. I heard rumors that the ex-CEO is facing criminal charges. Anyway, I thought it would be cool to own a keyboard and mouse system that took almost 100 million dollars to develop. It's worth much more to me than my $750 toilet seat from a P3 Orion that I purchased at a surplus auction for $5.

On a serious note, I think the product and technology was sold to a contract manufacturer that they borrowed money from to get their first round of production completed. If anyone hears anything more of interest, please post.

Cheers!

Rick
