+1 for the those.

I had had mostly Asus, Asus is still very good, but I now have a Gigabyte. It was so easy to get my E7200 to 3.8 on air with the GA bios. Great mobo + cpu combo.

Try 800Mhz DDR2 and FSB at a 1:1(400Mhz)

for that you will need to try cpu voltages around 1.31v to 1.34v. Start low then test.

Temps with above settings should be below 60c. They will probably run around 55c depending on other hardware.

I found a biostar board last night that is $109 after rebate and it has good ratings and is set up for overclocking. The good thing is that it is now on sale in a combo with the exact processor I was looking at buying!

do you guys know if biostar is a good brand ?

Now that is just absolutely ludicrous

^ yeah tha biostar p45 has got magic potion sprayed on it.it smokes the asus and gigabyte by miles. its kinda weird people today still cant figure out why that has better OC potential then any one else's. and think biostar is actually tier 2 mobo brand not tier 1 like asus and gigabyte and msi.
