Hi, so got the dell 2007wfp, MUCH better than the sp2008wfp. Its A04 revision, I-SPS Panel, no dead pixels , couldnt be happier

I have the ati 3870, so using DVI input. I really dont have experience (or knowledge) in adjusting the colors, contrast, gamma etc, etc. Since using DVI input limits what u can adjust on the monitor, it could be done on ati CCC.
My only main issue right now is that when the screen has a light background (like viewing docutments or internet usage) its too bright and hurts my eyes. However watching videos or playing games, its on the darker side. Cant see to find a balance. Something i should do with color, or anything else?
Any help is greatly appreciated. I did search but no conclusive results, and kinda resting my poor eyes now
