I bought a opteron 165 939 sockect. I have a Asus Av8 deluxe, which I found is not compatible.(Should of did my homework, I know.)
What boards are compatable with the opteron 165, please somebody?
Not looking for top end, and perfer it has a agp slot.
Trying to hold off from a new computer all together until the new intel boards are released.
Soon as I built this system I currently have, amd change there boards again and again. Trying to avoid that pitfall again.
Any suggestions?

Try the product web page and check/download the latest BIOS for the Opty 165. A member on this thread is running a 175 and suggests the 165.
