Virtual CD - To burn songs onto, not read iso from

I would like to setup a virtual CD. One that I can then access from Itunes to burn a CD onto, then use media player to rip from.

I'm trying to transfer songs from Itunes to Media Player. I no longer have an IPOD, now have a Sandisk Fuse. The only way
I can transfer songs is to burn the songs to a CD, then rip them back off (Of course then I have to edit the song title, group, etc
That won't change.

Is there a program to do this?

I'm hoping to save some CD's. I guess I could always keep the CD's as backups....but it would be faster to burn to harddisk
and rip from the harddisk (My CD burner is a USB).
