I have a 32" samsung that I recently bought (i'm a t work so I don't have model number) and was using it for a monitor on my pc for a few months with no issue using 2 7800's in sli. I just upgraded to a new system with all new components including a 8800GT and the resolution and everything is fine except randomly it goes blank and says "searching for signal" then comes back on. I have it connected same as before with a dvi to hdmi cable. I have the latest drivers for my pc and have no idea what to do.

Turn off all power saving features and screen savers and see if it still happens.

How cool is that!

I had a similar problem with my htpc and an nvidia 6200 using component out.
I had to go into the control panel and click the force tv switch and play with the gamma and color features to get it to work..

Took several hours but the time was well worth the effort.
Make sure you have an hd vid and a poor quality vid to work with!
It's always a hit and miss with this new technology, especially when integrating your pc with tvs.
hope you get it right...
