Task manager not showing system tray

Malware often causes this so you need to run all your scanners when you finish doing this. Go Start then Run and type regedit into the open box. You navigate in much the same way you would in My Computer so find your way to the following key:-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Policies>System then under "DisableTaskMgr"check that the DWord value is 00000000
Then HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Group Policy Objects>LocalUser>Software>
Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Policies>System then do the same then the same again for
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Policies>System
Finally, restart the computer then restart it again. Hopefully, your Task Manager is back in place.
