Well they were being recalled due to the temp sensor problem right??

I imagine a few unhappy customers.

Overclockers notwithstanding ..

I'm not techy and I don't follow all this stuff, I just thought maybe someone may have an idea if it'd be a fairly soon-ish or much longer

Aren't you going to get one? I'm waiting to see you on the news for some kind of apartment complex fire.. or something, like reynod vs Intel.

Perhaps Intel isn't in a big hurry anyways, since the B3's haven't hit the shelves. I would imagine some unhappy customers on that end.

Nope, No Temp Sensor issue.
Some Software/BIOS update required.

Stock is low due to rave reviews and high demand.

I expect the Quad Core parts to ships in late March.
This should cut demand for the E8xxx chips and allow stock to increase and price to drop below $200.
Now you just need to keep hunting/pecking as they come in/out of stock rather quickly.

Well when you grow up, you'll learn about this new technology called spellcheck. By the way I'm married, so I'll have to decline your offer.

Ahhhhhh hahaha

Good reply to a smart arse reply, and BTW I think the "date" he was referring to was the date of when they will be available.

I'd say you'll have to just keep checking up on suppliers in the EU. From what I can tell the Wolfdales are only being produced in 1 maybe 2 fabs. I'd imagine they are trickling out in limited numbers and due to what I would perceive as popularity, so they get snatched up right quick.
