I have a Q6600 G0. What's the proper Tj?

Core Temp v .99.3 says it's 100c

Real Temp v 2.7 says it's 95c

People online say it's both 85c & 100c

Does anyone know, for certain, what I should have my Tj setting at for proper temps? If I put Core Temp's at -5 (95) it agrees perfectly, core for core, with Real Temp so I can really use either. I just need to know the right setting!

Gah!

and

Thanks!

The Q6600 B3 is 85c, which is a pair of E6600 B2's. The Q6600 G0 is 95c, which is a pair of E6850 G0's. The author of Real Temp has tested the Q6600 G0, while the author of Core Temp has tested nothing. As the author of the Core 2 Quad and Duo Temperature Guide, I trust Real Temp.

Hey Comp. One more thing.

What about my laptop t7300 (E1 stepping)? Same story. CT is 100 and RT is 95. Should it be 95 then?

Thanks!

Real Temp is coded for desktop processors, so 100c is correct for your T7300.
