More Information

When I decided to update (I did it from a floppy drive) the bios on my motheboard (DFI LT X38) it said F1 to reset after the updating was done (update was successful). Then, when I did press F1 it did the reset but got stuck to the point you don't see anything on the screen (it won't even boot on bios). So, I did a manual turn off by holding the power button down and restart and there is the new bios, everything seem fine....
Now, my question is, the manual say it will reboot once I press F1. Can you tell me why it did not do that?
Another thing, lots of people telling me the same thing, after the updating was done its best to power down and restart, reset the cmos, then load optimal settings (I guess this apply to any brand of MB).... Can you tell me which one is more appropriate and safest way to do it?
