OK I think I understand, been reading all day.
This is what I have bought so far.
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
NeoPower 650 Blue power supply
KVR800D2N5K2/2G
Still need CPU,And Video Card.Probably a X1950
Because board doesn't support PCI Express 2.0
I think this is best I can put in board. But not
that important for now.
BIG Question is which CPU. I think from what I have read
on this forum, the CPU will have to be FSB of 800 MHz,
because the memory is 800MHz.
So I think that it means any 1 of the E2140,2160,2180,2200.
Or the E4300 to E4600 ,will work. If Not which ones will.

My last build was so easy.D875pbz.With any PentiumĀ® 4.
This Will be a big help as I am ready to order a CPU,but need
to make sure I buy one that will work with this board, and memory.

Many Thanks In Advance.

Yes but which one with the Kingston DDR2 PC6400
(KVR800D2N5K2/2G) memory? Any one on page?

Yes. DDR2 800 PC6400 is actually faster then you "need" to run any of cpu that works in the mobo
FSB is quad pumped. DDR2 is double what the bus speed is. So a cpu with 1066 FSB is 266x4(yeah its not exact)
only requires ram that runs at 533

So even the Intel cpus with 1333FSB only need DDR2 667 ram to run.

There is also different ram multi's offer'd in the bios of overclocking mobos. But for now dont even worry about it cause its over your head at the moment. Since ram is dirt cheap now stick with ddr2 800.

I just did a build with that mobo and I put a E8200 so i'm guessing you can put any Core 2 Duo in it. As for Graphic Card, PCI-e 1.0a and 2.0 is compatible so you can put any PCI-e card in there.

cpu are quad pump. meaning. 333x4 = 1333MhzFSB.

ram is double rate. meaning 333x2=667Mhz.

for best/good performance. u need to have 1:1 ratio. meaning 333 FSB cpu : 333Mhz ram.

i have a 1:1 ratio with my q6600. without using DDR2 800Mhz.

to know which best ram. look at the QVL.
almost all C2D will work with this mobo, with newer 8 series, u might need bios update.

u can put any Pci-E version 2 into this mobo, since they have backward compatibility.

i cant believe i answered all this. lol

Don't be afraid to put a PCI-express 2.0 card into that board's PCI-express x16 slot. As has been stated, PCI-e 2.0 is backwards compatible with x16. And fear not, you will not notice any reduced performance, as even the PCI-e 2.0 cards don't produce enough data to saturate 16 PCI-express lanes.

Proof, for the sake of completeness: Conclusion - Switching To PCI Express 2.0 Yields No Improvement

If you're after a decent graphics card in a similar price raange, the HD3850 is worth looking at, only about £20 more.

Thanks,I may go with the HD3850.Still looking for a good deal.

The Gigabyte (GA-P35-DS3L), (NeoPower 650 Blue power supply),
and (KVR800D2N5K2/2G),are on there way.Should be here tomorrow.
Just ordered the E2200 from newegg today.Hope they match.
That is the Memory,and E2200.
If something is not right here let me know so I can send something
Back.The E2200 came from newegg,so I could send it back for a
different one if need be.

Sorry, Night_wolf _in over my head.I just need an easy answer
like any of the Dual-Core Processor's will work with that memory.
Or Something on those lines.

Will work, yes or no.

Thanks Very Much

It's been awhile since I ran my DDR2 800 on my E4400 (Rated FSB 800) stock. I believe the ratio would be like 16:9? It should work.
