I got this laptop from a former employer who had the H/D go bad(Dell) and dell just sent him a new one and told him to trash the old one... go figure. Anywho he was on his way to tossing it out when he saw me and asked if i wanted it for parts so I said yea. I sold most of the Laptop cept for may be the cpu cooler and the monitor. I wanted to keep the monitor/display to see if i could mod it and make it hook to my desktop. I am an electronic Tech and have been so for some years now, I'm just not an engineer and don't/wouldn't know where to start to mod this display.

I still have the connectors that the display was hooked to in the laptop, and I have searched the web looking if someone has made a connector that may work for this purpose, but that again was a few years ago. My question is has/does anyone know a way to make this work or know of a connector i might be able to try. I k now i need to supply a voltage to power the lcd and lights thats not a problem, my problem is the video feed.

Thanks in advance for any information :)
