will the ocz gamexstream 600w run this-
q6600 oced @ 3.6 ghz
4 sticks of ddr2 667
5 hdd's
sb etrmegmr
2x 8800gts-512's in sli
help will be appreciated
and I know it is probably pushing it

I just got the lower-end StealthExtreme 600, and my research led me to concur with you: barely, but yes. As a start though, did you run it through http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp ?

yes I ran it through the psu calculator showed up as 540w

Probably be better off going for something a bit bigger, it won't be very efficient that close to it's threshold.

what about the antec true power trio 650, 52 amps on three rails and it's 650w and it's here at http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_build_psu.html for the dual 8800gt/gts and the ocz isn't.

I would go with at least 750W just to leave some head room. Your OCd quad will eat up a lot, you have 5 HDs and two GTS cards on top of that. Plus you don't want to be power limited if you want to swap something for a higher power sucking part later down the road. JMO though.
