Hi,
I am planning to use Usb communication in one of my applciation , I have
read follwoing in the Companion guide.
IMPORTANT: Applications that open a serial port are responsible for closing
it. Opening a serial port powers up the UART and drains batteries. To
conserve battery power, don't keep the port open longer than necessary.
What i could get is i cannot keep the Usb port open for long. i.e. for every
transaction with server i need to reopen the port.
Can any body please tell me what is the actual effect on battery if i keep
the port open for the complete session when my applciation is running.
say for 10 min or long?
