Using XP Pro SP2 with 3 different user accounts established, until recently
each users screen setting would apply when that user would log in
(resolution, background, etc.). something during the past month or two has
caused the resolution settings to no longer be saved. As each user logs in
they have to reset their setting for their resolution from the setting of the
prior user.

Is there registry setting that might have gotten reset during an update or
is there a way to cure this problem?

Thanks

Dave

AFAIK, XP doesn't natively permit this. You probably used Doug Knox's
utility. Maybe someone uninstalled it. Go here http://www.dougknox.com/
and click on XP Utilities. Scroll down to "Keep User Display Settings".

Bought the system with XP loaded from Dell, didn't relize that it might be a
