Hey hey, as my title says I need to find a good Fan and heatsink for the Core 2 Quad Q6600. Im trying to stay low budget so $50-$75 would be great, and lower even better. I found a couple but have no idea if they are good or not. I dont really know what to get or look for in terms of FHU. Thanks, Foxx.

Hey,

Are you planning to overclock? If you do, I would get a more powerful cooler. Very good coolers for good prices are the ones with Heatpipe Direct Touch technology. I think the name explains what it is about.
Known coolers with that tech are Xigmatek HDT-S1283, OCZ Vendetta 2 and Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer.
Other good branches are Thermalright and Scythe, but if you would go for a Thermalright cooler, don't buy the Ultra 120 Extreme. It's base isn't flat. Get the Ultra 120 instead.
