Hello,

I will be building a new system over the next few months to replace the system I built in 1998. Right now I have a full tower (30 inch tall) with no front usb ports, I had to add them using a PCI card and hub in a 5.25 drive bay, and the hub is anything but stable. The ports in a drive bay don't really work as I use several portable hard drives that come with 6 inch cables. Yes I have bought longer ones, but noone locally carrys them. So I want the ports on the top of the case so I can set my drive on top and not worry about cable length. USB is also slow for what I do so I am looking to esata. It would be nice to have 2 esata ports on top of the case. Does anyone know of a case that has front top mounted usb and esata ports?

Thanks,
Scott

As far as a pair of Esata not sure ... but the Antec Sonata III is a very nice case and it comes with a pair of USBS and one Esata generally close to the top.

And this case in New egg has what your looking for

Only one Esata port again, but 4 USB 2.0 and Firewire + heaphone and mic jacks too. I bought a Coolermaster Cosmos in December and absolutely love it.

It is huge and heavy; build quality is great, and awesome to work with.

I know of no cases out there that have 2 Esata ports. I have used and built a few computers that do. Here are the best ones I have actually built a computer in.

I know you do not hear much about Enermax cases, but this particular one is very well made and thought out. Its quality is surprisingly good, and there is a lot of room in it, thanks to its well thought out layout. The cooling is nice too. The Cooler Master is nice of course as stated above, and I'm sure you have heard plenty about it.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

Thank you all for your replies. They all look like good cases. I knew the 2 esata ports was probably reaching (but maybe not in the too far future). They also look like they can handle water cooling which is a plus.

Thanks,
Scott

As with the above, only has one eSATA, but the CM-690 is nice :)
