Hi Guys.

Im new on this forum .. I have a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L board, Core 2 duo E8400... But need advice on ram. was looking at Transcend® JetRam™ High-Performance 2GB DDR2-800 240-Pin Module : CL5, 4-Layer PC Board - JM800QLJU-2G ..

Can get for R350 ($41). any idea how good these are.

Not familiar and never used Transcend, but Newegg has these DIMMs. I would think it should work fine in the board . You would have to set it up properly in BIOS to get the maximum out of it. Not sure what kind of maximum speed these could reach if your overclocking, but otherwise the RAM looks good. The best PC6400 runs at PC8500 speeds when oveclocked, 1050MHz or a little better.
