i am searching all over the net for overclocking programs but i only can find cooling programs and they wont work
my rig:
cpu: q6700
gpu: gtx 280
ram: 4gig only 3 gig of it works
moaderboard: don't know execly it is a msi geforce 7050 i beleave.
fans: 4
powersupply: coolermaster 700w
because im interested in that SCCF. thats the best rated.nice temp.how high have you been stable on that thing?
from what you tell me you still got about 10C at least in temp headroom.
That's pretty much why I bought it; it was rated #1 and it is fairly priced. I am 100% happy with it.
I've been at 4ghz for about 1.5 months now. At idle my cores are at 31C:31C. Tested stable for 24+hr small FFT, 12hr OCCT, and 12hr memtest. 0 errors in all 3 tests

overclocking is a dangerous thing which can damage hardware and reduce their lifetime and also void warranty
clockgen is one of the best thing to overclock
try different chipsets until you can control the pll setup
some antivirus may tell that it is a virus, allow clockgen by antivirus
overclocking may make cou unstable
if programs close suddenly or black screen .. ect then immediately restart the comp
i prefer to not overclock more then 10%
and before overclock go into bios and set ram frequency to a valid working frequency instead of sync or auto
