You should probably have no problem OC'ing it, by just changing the FSB Host clock. Maybe you will not even have to change the CPU voltage, just try to stick with default voltage...
Host-333mhz + Multiplier x9=3Ghz
FSBxMultiplier=CPU speed
...And READ GUIDE TO OVERCLOCKING C2Q first ( it will give you a brief overview of things that matter and should be considered when you OC),
also a lot depends on your cooling....DOWNLOAD SpeedFan or RMclock
they best identify and update the info from CPU sensors(control your TEMPERATURE) don't go over 60 on FULL-LOAD.

best of luck...

SpeedFan- http://speedfan.en.softonic.com/
CPU-Z( CPU info)- http://www.cpuid.com/

SETTING FOR BIOS: q6600(2.4Ghz) to 3Ghz

CPU multiplier -x9.
Host clock Frequency -333.
CPU Voltage -1.325v (Default).
FSB -1.3v (or Default). Try which works BEST...
MCH Voltage -1.45v.

You will also need to OC your RAM(Memory) a little bit....to get it to work on 133mhz instead of 1066mhz
THIS SHOUD Do the job for you

if doesn't ....I'll try to help some more...

Good luck
