More Information

I just got my rig up and running and I bought a visiontek 3870 X2 as my GPU.  The problem is that when I run games that support Direct X 10, the games themselves look "scaley".  I'm running Vista Ultimate and updated the Direct X to the latest update, installed Catalyst drivers 8.2, but nothing is working.  Guild Wars, Battlefield 2142 and even Mafia run great, but when it comes to games like Gears of War and Bioshock, they just seem to not look right.  If I turn off Direct X 10 in Gears of War, it will run just fine, but when I click the option to turn it on and restart the game for the changes to take effect, it looks horrible and plays even worse.  If anyone has any opinon, fix or imput, it would be greatly appreciated.  PC specs below.  Thanks for taking the time to look at this thread.
