6133 is about half of what u should be getting. Check drivers make sure they the latest. If you could I would try to barrow a friends video card...to see if urs is a dud. Make sure u are running 3dmark06 at 1280x1024. Have fun ;)

Ok, i took out one memory stick and same results.

Put my old videocard back in and got a higher score of 6455.

The card was a 7950gt

I also have tried 2 O/S 32bit/64bit with both videocards and close to the same result. I also tried swiching motherboard at first i had one of those new chipsets from amd and got low 3dmark06 scores and then i tried the nforce motherboard with close to the same results.

Thanks for your help sofar

If you didn't use Driver Cleaner Pro yet then you should and before everytime you install new Nvidia drivers. All you have to do is uninstall Nvidia drivers, emty recycle bin, reboot in "Safe Mode" launch DCP, click Nvidia then clean. Ignore Windows installer, click cancel. Driver Cleaner Pro

i think when u switched ur vid cards and found that the 7950 gave u a higher score...the problem was solved. Check the 3d mark score here:

This shows that everything else on ur pc is working, except ur new vid card...sorry man that sucks. Return that POS and get another one.

Wow. Yups his card is not doing what it should be. The charts are great but thing that sucks is they dont show every card available anymore. For instance, they don't have the HD2900XT 1GB w/GDDR4. It seems that THG is kinda lacking in testing recently as they didn't even try to get one of the HD2900Pros to test.

Either way OP. Send it back and get a new one. Maybe something newer and better?
