8800 GT Akimbo

Hi Everyone,
I was looking around on Evga's website and noticed he new 8800 GT Akimbo. Looks pretty wicked but they are out of stock. Also, no one else seems to carry it. Does anyone own one and if so how does it compare to the 8800 GT? I want to upgrade and am a little unsure as to which direction to go.

Its appears to be an 8800GT with better cooling (dual slot) and higher clocks.

Not sure I'd want an 8800GT with a 720MHz core factory clock, but if I did buy one it would be from evga. Kinda seems a disaster waiting to happen and I'd rather OC myself. That said, I like the cooler alot and would have been interested in them if I didn't already install VF-900's. Priced right it looks like a nice card. But it has to be alot cheaper than $280, with MSI and Galaxy cards with better than reference coolers costing around $200 AR, not to mention the GTS 512MB.

i'm going after that AKIMBO cooling kit for my 8800gt. i don't like how hot mine gets even when i pump up the fan at 80%. for my case i think it will be the best option to push that hot air out of my case!

Well, I am definitely buying the cooling kit. 62*C at idle and 82*c under a load is not good. not even for the EVGA 8800GT SC.
