I have decided that now is the time to build my new pc, but i am finding that the options available are much different than last time i was buying parts.

I would like to know what system people could build for gaming using only the parts found on this Pricelist .

This system will primarily be for gaming (Bioshock, Crysis, HL2, World in Conflict......) and there will be no overclocking involved.

I would like you to help me choose parts that are best suited and compatible with each other.

BUDGET - The budget for this system is 33,000 B.

Please only use parts found on this Pricelist.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice offered.

Thanks Bmadd.....that is generally along the lines of what i was considering.

Nice machine you put together while staying within the budget.

Agreed. Might want to consider better RAM and if planing to OC quite a bit a good CPU cooler.

ok... wow, your "pricelist" has a VERY limited scope... but this is what i PERSONALLY recommend.

asus mobo, if you can swing it.. the one with the 790fx chipsets
amd 5000+ BE (i know you said no OC, but you just up the multiplier... not going to compromise your core unless you over volt it... up to 3.0ghz without overvolt depending on mobo and what not, 3.2-3.4 with less than .1v overvolt)
as far as the video card goes, i would check price vs performance... not sure how that goes in your neighborhood... but based on the "pricelist" i'd personally take the sapphire hd 3870, that's a GOOD card and it seems the price scales well too... if you want a LITTLE faster, then go with an 8800gt from a reputable company, those are both the best cards in a mid level price range, hands down. If you can't afford either of those, go for an ati 3850, 256 and 512 don't have a big difference between to two, but if you can't pop the extra few 'bucks' between the 3850 512mb and the 3870, chances are, you're going to get the 3850 256mb.

as far as the case, that's all personal preference.
psu, can't help you too much at the moment, make sure you have enough amps on the 12v rail to run your given video card + the rest.
as far as mem goes, gskill is inexpensive and generally performs well, i'd go with ddr2 800, inexpensive and is pretty much the standard right now.
dvd/cd i would go with asus, they tend to last longer (in my experience)
and for hard drives i can't help you much... i'm not too keen on performance and models. :p

have fun with your build... i'm excited for you! i'm getting ready to build a similar system soon. and once you build, feel free to post your specs and any experience you have with it all. :p

Here's what I'd get close to 33,000B for a "NO" OC'ing rig that is on your list:
CPU - Core2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz , LGA775, 1333 MHz, 6MB
Mobo - GA-P35-DS3L
HD - WD Caviar RE WD3200YS 320GB SATA-II 16MB NCQ
DVD Burner - DRW2014L1T 20X, SATA-Interface, LightScribe
Case - Sagitta2 928WBP Medium Tower Case with integrated blue power LED. Screwless case design. Side acrylic window. 120mm Huge Front fan. 120mm Blue LED Side fan. 120 mm super slient Rear exhaust fan. Standard ATX PS2/ EPS 12V (optional)
PSU - Silencer 610 EPS12V
• 610W Continuous @ 40C (670W Peak) • Up to 90% (10dB) Less Noise per Watt • EPS12V / NVIDIA? SLI Certified • 80+ Certified (83%); .99 Active PFC • +12VDC @ 49A (Large Single Rail) • 24-pin, 8-pin, 4-pin M/B Connectors • 2 PCI-E and 15 Drive Connectors • Automatic Fan Speed Control Circuit • Black Finish

Memory - GEIL Ultra Series 2GB 800MHz Kit (1GBx2) 4-4-4-12 "GX22GB6400C4USC"

GPU - GF8800GT XT YDE4 "G92"

Total ~$33180. If you want to drop down below 33,000B than I'd get the 3870 GPU and you'd be at about 31,000ish.
